Coaching institutes run on two scarce things: good papers and graded sheets. alip makes both, on tap.

The problem

Faculty burn evenings hand-setting papers that drift off-syllabus, then lose weekends marking stacks of handwritten sheets. Generic AI tools hallucinate questions and can't be trusted in front of students — so nobody puts them near a real exam.

Most of this is invisible until it matters. Here is what the model actually does — and the guardrails that keep it honest.

Grounded generation

Papers from your corpus — never a model's guess.

alip retrieves over your institute's own question bank and source material, so every paper is on-syllabus and defensible. When the bank runs thin, it authors a fresh question from your source chunks rather than inventing one.

How it works: semantic retrieval + a blueprint contract per paper; a hard invariant blocks any question that can't cite a source passage. Result: 0 ungrounded questions shipped.
Human-verified grading

The model proposes. Your faculty decides.

AI grades each answer with a reasoned, per-question mark — but a database-level gate means no mark is published until a teacher confirms it. Auto-publish is OFF by default, and a low-confidence answer routes straight to review.

How it works: the D3 publish gate lives in the database, not app code — it cannot be bypassed.
Reads real handwriting

Photograph the sheet. We do the rest.

Students upload a phone photo — no QR codes, no special paper. A multi-engine OCR ensemble reconciles the read, segments it per question, and never silent-scores a sheet it couldn't align.

How it works: aligned sheets read per-region; un-aligned pages fall back to whole-page segmentation at capped confidence, gated to a human.

When a teacher adjusts a grade, that correction feeds a verified feedback loop — so alip gets better at your standards. It never self-trains on its own output.

Generation and grading run on durable workers that survive restarts, behind multi-provider model and embedding failover. If one provider rate-limits, alip routes to the next — the paper still ships.
